This is an absolute MUST have for a 6G iPod; they are so small and fragile, a $15 case of this quality is essential for protecting your new investment. Works exactly as advertised. Made of strong, durable material.
2) As another reviewer noted, for some reason the middle of the back is made thicker ("elevated") so that when the ipod is put down on a surface face up, it will not set flat without wobbling. I ended up throwing the plastic pieces away and just using the case, which leaves the screen and clickwheel unprotected, but it's better than nothing. Trying to clean the particles off the piece of plastic and reattach just makes things worse.
The silicone offers good bump and scratch protection to the case without bulk. Even if you follow the instructions very carefully and have clean fingers and a dustless environment, it is impossible to get the screen cover on without bubbles appearing. Pros: Fits the iPod classic perfectly and has a nice, clean, sleek appearance.
Any microscopic particle of dust will cause an ugly bubble to appear. Not a huge problem, but having it set flat without the protrusion might have given a little more traction / resistance to being pulled accidentally off a desk, etc.Overall, its ok if you don't need clickwheel or screen protection; otherwise there are probably better choices. The case is thin enough so that it doesn't interfere with the clickwheel feel and function.
Holes for switch and headphone on top and charger/sync cable socket on bottom are perfectly placed and give good access.Cons: 1) The clear plastic pieces that come with the silicone case and are supposed to be attached to the screen and clickwheel are an exercise in frustration.
I really like this case and it looks good on the ipod. Sturdy, clean looking and easy to use.

The only "negative" thing about is that it's white, if you have a black iPod, it doesn't look nice This is a very good case, resistant and durable.
